１８日付の中国新聞に掲載された、ノーベル平和賞受賞者たちによるヒロシマ・ナガサキ宣言は読みましたか？まだ読んでいない人は、ヒロシマ平和メディアセンターのウェブサイト（http://www.hiroshimapeacemedia.jp/）で読んでくださいね。英語の原文と日本語訳を比べて読めば、英語の練習にもなりますよ。

この宣言を読むと、広島の被爆者や市民の声が、世界に核兵器の恐ろしさを伝える上でとても重要な役割を果たしていることが分かります。どんな小さな声でもいいんです。だからあなたの声も、この訴えの一部となるよう協力してください。

ＢＯＮＵＳ問題への解答に、広島市西区の畠さんたちは、原爆資料館に展示されている黒こげになった弁当箱のことを挙げました。

資料館によると、この弁当箱は建物疎開作業をしていた時に被爆した中学生のものだったそうです。母親が作ったこの弁当の中身は、炭化した状態でまだ箱の中に入っています。

先日、もう一度資料館を訪れ、この弁当箱や他の被爆した物を見て、心を揺さぶられました。私は資料館を訪れることによって、核兵器廃絶への思いが高まるだけでなく、生きていられる一日一日を大切にしようとも思います。
