TOKYO, June 9 Kyodo - The Japan Confederation of A- and H-Bomb Sufferers Organizations said Wednesday it will hold a postponed exhibition of aftereffects of nuclear warfare at the U.N. headquarters in New York in May next year.
The group set the new schedule to have the event coincide with a review conference on the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty at the United Nations.
The exhibition will feature displays that show the suffering caused by the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 toward the end of World War II.
The display, originally scheduled for April and May this year, was postponed because the group failed to make preparations in time.
