TOKYO, Aug. 5 Kyodo - Japanese Foreign Minister Yoriko Kawaguchi said
Thursday a main topic during talks with Pakistani Foreign Minister Khurshid
Kasuri planned for Aug. 11 in Islamabad will be disarmament and
nonproliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
Announcing her plan to visit Pakistan and India from Aug. 10, Kawaguchi
told a press conference she will also discuss how to prevent terrorism with
Indian External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh on Aug. 12 in New Delhi.
Kawaguchi said she will express Japan's commitment to helping improving
bilateral ties between India and Pakistan during the trip through Aug. 14.
