| The nuclear weapon states include five nations that are party to the NPT, including the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, France and China, as well as the countries of India and Pakistan. Israel is also believed to possess nuclear weapons. After announcing a withdrawal from the NPT, North Korea moved forward with nuclear testing and insists that it be considered a nuclear power, too. |
