外国でも平和を話し合うために

前回の「英語に挑戦」のあと、とても大切なことが起こりました。今月５日、米国のオバマ大統領が欧州チェコの首都プラハでの演説で、核兵器廃絶に向けて行動すると宣言したのです。彼の考えは、世界中の人々に核兵器廃絶への希望を与えました。原爆ドームとして知られる建物を設計したヤン・レツルもチェコの出身です。（これは前回のクイズにありましたね！）おもしろいつながりです。私もこの国で２年間過ごしたので、オバマ氏がチェコでこの演説をしてうれしいです。次にオバマ氏が核兵器について演説するのが、広島市の平和記念公園だと良いですね。
