With the survivors of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima growing older, there is a rising sense of urgency to hand down their experiences to the world to help prevent other human beings from ever enduring a similar fate. The Hiroshima Peace Media Center, in line with its mission of conveying the horrific consequences of nuclear attack to the world’s people in English, offers personal accounts of the bombing by English-speaking survivors. Each account is roughly 20 minutes in length.
